UPCOMING PROJECT
280 QUEEN STREET MELBOURNE
The podium screen engages with its surroundings, maintaining a dense pattern that becomes looser and more irregular at the entrances, drawing attention to the entry points. Inspired by 1800s Victorian courthouses, the façade highlights the entrance with a modern screen and canopy, blending contemporary design with the eclectic topology of Queen Street.
On Little Lonsdale Street, the façade refines this concept with a cascading screen effect through the glass setback, creating a dynamic interaction with the environment.
The tower façade mirrors the podium's centreline through recesses in the North and West elevations, with a change in glass colour distinguishing the flow between podium and tower. A bronze line visually connects the two, separating the residential and commercial areas. This concept is repeated on Little Lonsdale Street
